#21: Transitioning from Active Duty to Entrepreneurship with Paul Huszar

A former member of the U.S. military and Director at the U.S. Army Engineer School, Paul Huszar is currently the President and CEO of VetCor LLC. VetCor, an insurance services company specializing in water mitigation and other insurance related services, is staffed by military veterans. It provides services to consumers, insurance agents, and insurance companies in the state of Florida.

VetCor, a restoration firm focusing on creating opportunities for veterans, is led by Paul Huszar, who is also the majority owner. Paul also developed Team Vetcor, a company that allows veterans and their families to franchise VetCor and start their own business. Paul is also a certified Professional Engineer and a Certified Franchise Executive. He graduated from West Point with a degree in Civil Engineering and from the University of Washington with graduate certificates in Administration and Management, Global Trade, Transportation and Logistics, and an M.S.C.E.

Previously, Paul served as the Dean of the Army Engineer School, and served 23 years in the army, including four tours in Iraq. Today, he is an entrepreneur and businessman who helps veterans and people in general find more opportunities rather than be tied down.
